Simone has over 8000 hours of live radio hosting experience. Today she appears regularly as a sex expert on BBC 5 Live. She also co-hosts phone-ins on love and relationships for Radio 1's Surgery. She has also recently appeared on Radio 4 as an Agony Aunt. Simone is also well known for guest hosting Late Night Love, a sex and relationship phone-in talk show across 42 stations.
As a sex and relationship therapist, Simone gives warm, friendly and frank advice, helping listeners with their dilemmas. She covers topics ranging from getting over an ex, to finding the confidence to leave an unhealthy relationship, to getting the best sex and love from your partner. Simone isn't afraid to talk about her own adversity, connecting one on one with the listener.
For two years, Simone hosted a weekday mid-morning radio show on Southern FM, which achieved the highest share on the radio station for 8 years.
On her daily relationship feature Flirty At Ten Thirty Simone extended the format of the original Capital Radio feature. As a result, Simone helped to reconcile several failing relationships and marriages, attracting much press attention to her show.
Simone produced and presented a week long special series "Happy New You." Guest starring Paul McKenna and anger management expert Mike Fisher, the show empowered listeners to confront the issues needed for a healthier, happier life. The show was nominated for a CRCA Award 2006.
Simone has also presented weekend shows on London's Heart 106.2 and contributed to Woman's Hour and various shows on Radio 5 Live.
She first made her name in radio on Capital Radio where she co-hosted celebrity chat show Late and Live, which achieved the highest ratings in the time slot for over 5 years. Simone went on to work closely with Chris Tarrant on his Breakfast Show, presenting The Flying Eye, as well as OBs in New York, Florida and Las Vegas where she returned to guest present on KLUC, the city's number one breakfast show.
